Locale Region Decimal Calculator

Locale Decimal CalculatorThe locale and region support is expanded in the new version of Smart Math Calculator. You can now select any language you want from a list of 44 supported languages. Doing so will change the decimal mark and separators of all input/output numbers.

To change locale, click on View > Settings. You have an option of selecting English, Local, or other. If the default language of your operating system language is English you will not see the option for Local. To choose a language other than English or Local, click on the drop-down box to select any of the 44 available languages.

After changing the language, all "outputs" will be recalculated and reformatted with the new decimal format. For example if you change language from English to German, all decimal marks will be changed from dot (.) to comma (,). The inputs are not automatically changed so you get a warning if any of your inputs contains dot. You need to go through them one-by-one and change the dot to proper decimal mark.

After changing the language and restarting Smart Math Calculator, you will notice that some words such as OK and Cancel are also localized based on the selected language. We currently do not have localization support for all dialog boxes so most prompts will still be shown in English. If we receive requests we will consider adding full localization support for all dialogs.

Note: If you already installed an older version, we recommend downloading and re-installing it again because the auto-update cannot fully update to this particular version.
